Abstract
Introduction and Objective: The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between creative thinking and generative learning and the mediating role of spiritual intelligence among students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch.
Research Methodology: The present study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and correlational in terms of method. The statistical population of this study was 3800 students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch in the academic year 1403-1404. Morgan table was used to determine the sample size and 350 people were selected as the sample size. The sampling method was cluster random. To collect data, the Torrance Creative Thinking Questionnaire (1990), the Dehghan Generative Learning Questionnaire (2010) and the Ging Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire (2008) were used. Structural equation modeling based on SPSS27 and PLS3 software was used to analyze the data.
Findings:The findings of this study showed that creative thinking and generative learning have a positive and significant relationship with the mediating role of spiritual intelligence among students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch. Creative thinking has a positive and significant relationship with generative learning among students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch. Creative thinking has a positive and significant relationship with spiritual intelligence among students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch. Finally, it was determined that spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant relationship with generative learning among students of Islamic Azad University, Kazerun Branch.
Conclusion: Creative thinking, as one of the key factors of generative learning, plays an important role in improving students' learning processes. In addition, spiritual intelligence, as a mediating variable, strengthens the relationship between creative thinking and generative learning and itself has a direct positive effect on generative learning.
