Abstract
Introduction and goal: The aim of this study is to investigate organizational silence in educational environments.
Research Methodology: The method of this study was descriptive of the library type. Using internal and external databases, research and studies in the field under study were searched and studied. The data were categorized and coded, and the results were recorded in researcher-made tables.
Findings: The main goal of the school is to create and continuously improve the teaching and learning process. In the meantime, school teachers play a fundamental role in achieving this goal and realizing the effectiveness of schools, so special attention should be paid to their growth and increase in self-awareness along with other factors. In the event that, considering the current situation, some behaviors among teachers are considered as obstacles to the social capital of the school community, one of these behaviors is the phenomenon of organizational silence of teachers in the educational environment, which can be based on various reasons. If the goal is to develop the professional performance of teachers, it is necessary to identify and eliminate the factors affecting the occurrence of teacher silence. Therefore, considering the undeniable and destructive role of organizational silence in important issues such as change and development, organizational health, employee motivation, and its prevalence in today's organizations, it seems necessary to address such issues professionally.
Conclusion: Organizational silence of teachers is a serious obstacle to improving job performance, educational development, and organizational health. Identifying and eliminating the factors affecting this phenomenon is considered essential and professional for achieving school goals.
