Introduction and goal: The meaning of life is considered one of the human needs and the lack of meaning in life is the cause of many psychological problems. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of the relationship between meaning in life and aggression and resilience in students.
Research methodology: The research was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all students of Islamic Azad University, Yadgar Imam branch in the academic year of 2024, who were selected by available sampling method, 110 people. To collect information, the meaning of life questionnaire (Steger et al., 2006) and aggression (Bass and Perry, 1992) and the resilience questionnaire (Connor and Davidson, 2003) were used. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression with SPSS-26 statistical software.
Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the total score of resilience and the meaning of life in students (r=0.559 and P<0.006). Also, there is a negative and significant correlation between the total score of aggression and the meaning of life in students (r=0.627 and P<0.009).
Conclusion: Considering the effective and useful role of the meaning of life, it is necessary to put written plans on the agenda in order to increase the meaning of life.
