The Effect of Workplace Spirituality on Mental Health and Self-Control of Elementary Education Teachers in Kazerun County

Abstract
Introduction and Objective: Workplace spirituality, as one of the key factors in improving the quality of professional life, plays a vital role in promoting mental health and strengthening teachers' self-control. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of workplace spirituality on mental health and self-control of elementary education teachers in Kazerun County.
Research Methodology: The present study is a descriptive-correlational and field group study that examines and analyzes the relationships between variables in real environments. The statistical population of this study is the teachers of Kazerun County, of which, according to the latest statistics, 644 were male teachers and 1011 were female teachers. 320 people were selected using the Morgan and Krejci table. In the research, the data collection tool was a questionnaire.Workplace spirituality, mental health and self-control questionnaire, the validity and reliability of all these questionnaires were confirmed by previous research. SPSS 26 software and Pearson correlation coefficient and regression tests were used to analyze the data.
Findings: The results of the study showed that workplace spirituality has an effect on teachers' self-control with a beta value of 0.542 and is significant at the P<0.01 level. Workplace spirituality has an effect on teachers' mental health with a beta value of 0.471 and is significant at the P<0.01 level.
Conclusion: The results show that workplace spirituality has a significant and positive effect on teachers' mental health and self-control. A workplace that emphasizes spiritual values, positive cooperation and job meaning can increase teachers' ability to manage their emotions and behaviors and help improve their mental state. These findings indicate the importance of designing ethical and meaningful work environments to promote mental health and improve teachers' professional performance.
