Abstract
Introduction and purpose: The purpose of this research was to design a prevention model for cyber addiction in elementary school students of Kazerun city In Iran.
Research Methodology: The current research method was a qualitative descriptive phenomenology type using Colaizzi(1978) theme analysis. In this study, using in-depth interviews, people's experiences about the phenomenon in question were explored. The interviews were conducted individually and in groups. It was done and continued until the theoretical saturation was reached. The data collection instrument was a semi-structured interview. The sampling was done by purposive method. The participants of this study were principals and teachers of elementary schools and university professors in Kazerun city.. In order to guarantee the validity of the findings by allocating the necessary time, combining the methods and reviewing the interview forms conducted by the interviewees were used. Also, in order to confirm the findings, any bias in the interview stages was avoided and to increase the confidence of guidance and The supervision of professors was used.
Findings: According to the opinion of the participants in the research, five major components including: community-oriented, family-oriented, partial identity, partial awareness and partial governance; strategies to prevent students' cyber addiction were considered.
Conclusion: Cyber addiction as a growing problem threatens the mental and physical health of students. To deal with this phenomenon, it is necessary to take preventive measures. Awareness, as one of the most effective solutions, plays a key role in improving people's knowledge and skills in facing the dangers of cyberspace.
